Do I need a video call with a physician before receiving my medication?
In the majority of the United States, no — patients do not need a video call with a physician prior to receiving their medication. However, a few states do require a video call. These states include: Arizona, Washington D.C., Delaware, Missouri, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and West Virginia.
Can I use insurance to pay for medication?
At this time, we do not accept insurance for our services. All treatments are available at transparent, affordable out-of-pocket pricing with bundle savings at 3 and 6 months.
What is your return / refund policy?
Due to the nature of prescription medications and associated healthcare services, we are unable to offer refunds once a prescription has been issued or services have been rendered. If you believe an error was made in filling your prescription, please contact us via the Patient Portal or email telehealth@leguprecovery.com.
Can I change the dosage of my medication during my treatment?
All medication-related questions should be directed to your physician through the Patient Portal. If your physician determines that a dose change is required, you will be prescribed the new dose at no additional cost.
Is my medication coming from a real pharmacy?
Yes. All prescription medications are dispensed by licensed, US-based pharmacies that are fully accredited and operate in compliance with all state and federal regulations. You can view our full list of pharmacy partners on our Pharmacy Information page.
Are the medications real and FDA-regulated?
All medications provided are real and dispensed by accredited US pharmacies. Please note that some compounded medications (such as compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide) are not FDA-approved products — the FDA does not evaluate compounded products for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Your prescribing physician will discuss this with you during your intake. See our Disclaimer for full details.
How long does shipping take?
Prescription medications typically ship within 2 business days after prescription approval and arrive within 2–3 business days via free shipping. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. All consultations and health information are handled in full HIPAA compliance. Your data is protected in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Leg Up Recovery, our healthcare services partner.
